Official Rules: HOB / HARLEY-DAVIDSON CONTEST

How to Participate.

This contest is being run from August 27, 2002 – August 29, 2002. There are two ways to enter into the contest: (a) on the Internet, at www.hob.com, see the links to the HOB/Harley Davidson Contest or (b) by hand printing a request to enter the contest and mailing it to HOB Entertainment, Inc., 6255 Sunset Blvd., 16th Floor, Hollywood, CA 90028, attention: HOB/Harley Davidson Contest, to be received by August 29, 2002.

Eligibility.

This contest is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States (other than Florida), who are 21 years of age or older. Employees, directors and their immediate families or members of household of: HOB Entertainment, Inc., HOB Concerts, Inc. and other prize sponsors and participants, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising, production, promotion and publicity agencies, and anyone connected with the production and distribution of this Contest are not eligible to enter or be awarded a prize.

Prizes, Approximate Retail Value and Odds (as of August 29, 2002).

One Grand Prize: A 2 night vacation that includes: airfare, hotel, and two tickets to the show featuring the Doors at a secret location in Los Angeles, California. The grand prize includes round-trip Southwest Airlines’ airline tickets for two people from the nearest major airport in the 48 contiguous United States (other than Florida) to the winner’s residence to Los Angeles, California for the September 1 - 3, 2002, two nights standard room accommodation on September 1 and 2, 2002 for two people, and tickets for two people to The Doors show. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $1,100. You must be prepared to take the trip starting September 1, 2002 and returning September 3, 2002. 19 Second Prizes: tickets for two people to the September 3, 2002 show of The Doors. You must be prepared to attend the concert on September 3. No airfare or other transportation is included in the Second Prizes. Odds of winning the prizes depend on the number of eligible entries received. One entry per person. Sponsor may disqualify any entrant violating these rules.

Winner Selection.

HOB Entertainment, Inc. will conduct contest administration and verification. By participating in this Contest, you agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of HOB Entertainment, Inc. whose decisions are final. The sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the Contest if, in Sponsor’s sole judgment, entrant has not complied with these Official Rules. Grand Prize winner will be notified by telephone on or about August 30, 2002 and will be required to execute and return, via fax, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity and Liability Release (the traveling companion will also be required to execute and return a Publicity and Liability Release) within 48 hours of notification or prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected. Sponsor not responsible for illegible, lost, late, misdirected, postage due, damaged or incomplete mail. Prizes do not include anything not specifically mentioned as part of the prize in these Official Rules. It is the sponsor's intention to award only the prize described in the Official Rules. Entrants agree to release and hold harmless HOB Entertainment, Inc., prize sponsors and participants, their respective licensees, franchisees, affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, successors and their respective directors, officers, employees, advertising and production agencies from all liability regarding participation in the Contest, the receipt and use of prize awarded and, without limiting the generality of the above, from any injury or death while using the prize. Prize winner waives the right to 1) to assert as a cost of winning a prize any and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem that prize and 2) any liability claim which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem that prize. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or exchanges or cash equivalents will be allowed except by sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value and approximately similar features for any prize mentioned in these rules due to unavailability. Contest void in whole or in part where prohibited, licensed, restricted or taxed. All taxes are winner's responsibility. All federal, state and local regulations apply. All materials submitted become the property of the sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor reserves the right to use winner's name and likeness, including photographs taken by the sponsor’s photographer, for publicity use, without any further consent or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
