Venue Details

  • Accessible seating locations are available in all seating price levels. If assistance in needed, uniformed staff can assist.
  • Ground was broken on July 2, 1967, and Blossom Music Center?s inaugural concert with The Cleveland Orchestra took place on July 19, 1968. Blossom Music Center represents one of the finest performing arts facilities in the country, offering Northeastern Ohio a wide variety of musical entertainment. Blossom is owned by the Musical Arts Association, the non-profit parent organization of The Cleveland Orchestra and Severance Hall and is managed by Live Nation. Of the 800 acres of property purchased, approximately 150 have been developed and are adjacent to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
  • The Box Office accepts cash, checks, Visa?, MasterCard?, American Express, and Discover.
  • Refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis. All refunds must be made at the point of purchase.
  • Multiple restrooms are located throughout the grounds. A family restroom is located in the house left plaza behind the concession building. There are also restrooms located in the V.I.P. area.
  • Tailgating and alcohol in the parking lots are not allowed.
  • If transportation is needed. Blossom has a wheelchair van and golf carts available to assist.
  • From downtown Cleveland: Take I-77 south to Exit 143 (Wheatley Rd). Turn left on Wheatley road and follow until it dead-ends into Riverview road. Turn right on Riverview road, then left on Bolanz, then right on Akron-Peninsula road and then turn left onto West Steels Corners road and Blossom is on the left. From Cleveland and Northwest: Take I-71 south to Route 303 East (Brunswick Exit). Turn left on Rt. 303 and follow for 10 miles into the town of Peninsula. Turn right on Akron Peninsula Rd., and then left onto Steels Corners Rd. Blossom is on the left. From Cleveland Hopkins Airport: Take I-71 south to the Ohio Turnpike (I-80 East). Take Route 8 South (Exit 12) to West Steels Corners Rd. Turn Right on Steels Corners. Blossom is 3 1/2 miles on the right. From Canton; Take I-77 North to Rt. 8 North. Exit at Steels Corners road and turn left. Blossom is 3.5 miles down the road on your right. From Columbus: Take I-71 north to I-271 North. Take exit Rt. 303 east to Akron Peninsula road and turn right. Follow to West Steels Corners road and turn left. Blossom is on you left. From Wadsworth / Norton: Take I-76 east to Old Rt. 21 North to Rt. 18 East. Turn right on Rt. 18, left on Smith Rd., and follow until it dead-ends onto Riverview. Turn left on Riverview, right on W. Bath, left on Akron-Peninsula Rd., right on Steels Corners. Blossom is on left. From West Suburbs: Take Broadview or Brecksville Rd. to Rt. 303 East. Follow 303 into the town of Peninsula and turn right at Akron-Peninsula Rd. Take Akron-Peninsula to W. Steels Corners Rd. and turn left. From Brimfield /Rootstown; Take I-76 west to Rt. 8 North. Take Graham Rd. exit and turn left. Take Graham Rd. until it dead-ends into State Rd. Turn right on State, follow to Steels Corners and turn left. Blossom is 2 1/2 miles on the right. From Kent : Take Route 59 (Main St.) west to Fishcreek Rd. and turn right. Turn left onto Graham Rd. until it dead-ends into State Rd. Turn Right on State and follow to Steels Corners. At Steels Corners Rd., turn left and follow signs. From Youngstown, Warren; Take the Ohio Turnpike (I-80) to Exit 12 (Rt. 8 South). Take Route 8 to Steels Corners Rd., turn right. Blossom is 3 1/2 miles on the right.
  • The first aid office is located inside the main gates next to the guest services and security offices.
  • Will Call windows are located at the Blossom Box Office at the main gates. You must present valid photo identification and the credit card used for the ticket purchase.
  • Items allowed in this venue include: food in one gallon, clear plastic bags, one 20 oz. factory sealed bottle of water, umbrellas (umbrellas not permitted in reserved seating area), blankets, strollers, infant care bags, binoculars, purses, small backpacks and open bags, inspected medical supplies, service animals, and lawn chairs. Note: These guidelines are subject to change.
  • Blossom Music Center will be recruiting for positions in the following departments which include: maintenance, ushering, admissions, parking, crowd management and guest services. All applicants are required to attend the Blossom Job Fair which will be held in early April.
  • Aramark offers a variety of concessions items through out the venue. Concessions are served from gates until the end of the show. Picnic areas are available for guests to sit and enjoy their purchases. Some of the items available are hamburgers, pizza, pretzels, popcorn, french fries, candy, Coke products, bottled water, frozen drinks, cocktails, wine, draft and bottled beers. Some of our specialty items include Ben & Jerry's Ice cream, Papa Johns Pizza, Italian sausages, and Burritos.
  • Smoking is not allowed in this venue.

  • The Box Office at Blossom is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, beginning the first weekend following Memorial Day and running thru Labor Day weekend. On show days, the box office opens approximately two hours before show time.
  • All guests attending Blossom are expected to wear suitable clothing and footwear. Any questionable attire can be questioned and appropriately dealt with by venue management.
  • Disabled spaces are available in all levels of parking.
  • VIP parking Is available in lot A. The backstage parking lot is included with VIP packages. Parking passes for paved parking lots C, D and E are available online and range from $10.00 to $15.00 depending on performance. General paved and grass lot parking is available free of charge.
  • The Blossom Restaurant is located at the top of the lawn area and offers a unique setting and professional staff who create a full-service dining experience. The restaurant is open for The Cleveland Orchestra concerts and various special attractions only. A full-service bar is available. For information and reservations please call (330) 916-6063. The Grove Party Center Aramark Sports and Entertainment can cater up to 500 guests at The Grove Party Center located in the natural wooded beauty of Blossom (non-event day catering also available).   • Parents chaperoning their children to Blossom may wait for their children in the Parents Pavilion located right outside the main gates. If children become separated from their parents while attending a performance, Blossom staff will stay with the party and escort them to guest services. A description is to be obtained and communicated to staff and the Sheriff's Department via radio. Gates will be closely monitored until lost parties have been united in Guest Services.
  • Disabled spaces are available in all levels of parking.
  • There will be no re-entry once you have been admitted to this venue.
  • Camping is prohibited in the parking lots and surrounding streets.
  • The Blossom Music Center Crowd Management staff along with the Summit County Sheriff Deputies is on hand to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • You must be 21 years of age with legal ID to purchase and/or consume alcohol. We ID ages 40 and under. We serve two drinks per person we reserve the right to cut off alcohol at any time. Alcohol sale are concluded 30 minutes prior to the scheduled end of the show.
  • Guests are subject to bag searches and various levels of screening subject to artist or management discretion.

  • The sale of merchandise at Blossom Music Center is managed by EMI. EMI operates two sites located at the main gate and house right plaza. For larger events, EMI will add up to two extra sites in order to enhance the fan experience.
  • Items not allowed in this venue include: non-service animals, illegal substances, alcohol, cans and bottles (water excluded), laser pointers, weapons of any kind, fireworks, skates, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, wallet chains, spiked jewelry, coolers, balls, frisbees, food and beverage not in one gallon clear bag, voice and video recording devices.
